Based on the radio version, it was pretty bad


That was a neutral announcer on the call and it sounded like the Hokies spent the entire second period shorthanded. I think I heard 8 penalties called in the 2nd period alone, including couple of misconducts. But VT played through it and came out with a win.

I think we may have even had a player with a game misconduct at the end of the game, which would mean a suspension for today.

Of course, good team find a way to play through it.
